Open call for emerging queer artists
Kavalo Productions is launching an open call for the development of short films exploring queerness. Projects may be at any stage of writing (idea, treatment, first draft, or rewrite) and do not require a finalized script. This is a call prior to production, open to proposals that explore experiences, identities, or stories from 2SLGBTQIA+ communities.
The director(s) and/or screenwriter(s) must be from the Canadian Francophonie (primarily outside Quebec). The director(s) and/or screenwriter(s) must identify as part of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
